Time To Meet...

Today I wanted you all to meet a lovely lady from one of my favorite blogs- Mr. Taylor and His Lady
I stumbled across her blog one night while lurking around in my newish days and was so excited to add her to my list of blog friends!  She has a carefree spirit, awesome style and a sweet personality in this bloggy world!  Let's meet her shall we?

What is your name and what should we know about you?
My friends call me TJ. I'm a newlywed, blogger, instagram junky, closet hoarder, and a big city dreamer. You will never find me without my iPhone, mister and laptop

How did you decide to start blogging in the first place?
When the hubby and I first got engaged in December of 2010, I became infatuated with the blogging world. Rockstar Diaries, The Daybook, Bleubird Vintage. You couldn't tear me away from the screen. And even though all these ladies are amazingly fabulous and oh so stylish, I mostly admired their candid way of writing, and the wonderful responses that the blogosphere gave back to them. I was never good at consistently writing in my diary. I wanted a space where I could be open and honest. A space that would be kept for me and my future family forever. And thus His Little Lady was born.

Tell us what your blog is about?

My blog is really about my daily life as a newlywed and just those rockin' rambling thoughts. And pretty much all the little awkward moments that happen in between. Trust me, there's a lot of them.

Favorite Summer Essentials?
Oh gosh, favorite summer essentials (in no particular order):
Sunscreen - gotta protect that Norwegian skin.
Water Tubes - river floating.
Chapstick - for obvious reasons.
That perfect beach cover-up.
Summer dress.
Tent - Summer isn't complete without camping and making some yummy s'mores.
A camera - To capture all those amazing moments.

What other awesome things are you doing when you aren't working on the blog?
When I'm not blogging you can usually find me down at the park playing ultimate frisbee, hiking, shopping (does that count), and more recently, photographing. That's right, I'm dusting off my nikon and getting back into what I love. Who knows where that will take me.

So, we know you got to volunteer for Sundance, how amazing was it?
Sundance was absolutely incredible! It was my first time volunteering, and most definitely not my last. The people you work with are all so friendly, the atmosphere is at an all time high, you get to meet incredible people (famous of otherwise), and see great movies for free. I was actually personally asked afterwards to work with the new London Sundance Film Festival but was unable to go due to expenses. Bummer. Keeping my fingers crossed that the same opportunity comes up again next year.

What inspires you and your personal style?
It's hard to pinpoint just one thing that inspires me, but I can definitely say I don't know where I would be without the Internet. There are some seriously stylish ladies out there in this blogging world that I can only try to emulate. Another place I love to draw inspiration from is people watching in the city. This sounds extremely creepy, oh well. Surrounding yourself with open space, architecture, and a beautiful variety of people. Nothing speaks to me more.

Any words of wisdom for us?
Act without expectation. And embrace messy hair.

What are your three beauty essentials?
I can never live without Burt's Bees Chapstick, BareMinerals Flawless Definition Mascara, and my NARS red lipstick.

What do you want to be when you grow up?
I feel like you are never too old to be asked this question. Sometimes I feel like I am still that 5 year old girl that wants to be everything. A National Geographics photographer, a celebrity PR assistant, an actress, a mother. I'll take any and all!
