Phone Life Lately!

Happy Labor Day!  I tried to celebrate it by doing some labor, like vacuuming, however the vacuum mysteriously disappeared.  Take it for what you will but that my friends, is a blessing in disguise.  Some good news of the day, Chris and I are going to check out what we hope is our future apartment!  I have a few friends that live there and after visiting one of them during lunch I fell in love.  I don't want to get my hopes up, but I'm really excited about this and it is all I can think about!  Besides being closer to work, it will be nice to have a place of our own.

Life Lately

After reading a great post about food photography on A Beautiful Mess, that is all I have been taking photos of which is really fun and I'm getting the hang of it.  Since I don't have a fancy DSLR, I've been using my Android, which not surprisingly takes better photos then my dinky point and shoot.

This week I plan on sorting my thoughts, getting my finances in order and a bunch of other adult stuff I don't really want to actually do, but have to, because I "have" to.  Also, I'm going to be having a guest blogger join us every week...stay tuned!

Instalife Lately

Okay, so I lost count with my "According to Instagram" and was too lazy to backtrack to see what "version" I'm on.  So I think I'll just be naming my insta posts whatever instantly pops into my head.  Heh!

I had the most awesome day off Thursday and this past weekend.  We went to Tucson(not Tuscon) to have my car looked at, but nothing was wrong with it and decided to enjoy the rest of the day!  We went to this amazing mexican restaurant called El Guero Canelo's, it is tooo delish, seriously, it is life changing.  You can check out their story here!

Sorry I was missing in action last week, too much happening and very personal stuff that I was going through.  Lately, I have been have a great time at work and just started reading the second installment of the Hunger Games, Catching Fire.  Did I mention I just got it yesterday and I'm pretty much almost done....it is amazing! 

Chris and I went on a date Saturday night to an amazing place called Si Senor and they have the best pastries called Sopapillas!  Have you ever had them?  If not you definitely should!  They're cinnamon sugar dough and you drizzle honey over them...so yummy!

Life According To Daisy

Okay, not sure where all my photos went for this weeks instagram post but, I did happen to find these pictures with Daisy!  I had the day off yesterday + Chris starting work = Daisy and Mom time.  Yes I did say mom.  We had some Fro-Yo, lounged around, watched Mad Men and finished up with Glee..ahh...her and I couldn't have had a more relaxing day!  Definitely a day that was much needed!

So today I am putting my big girl heels on at work, I mean, I was always wearing my big girl heels, but now I get to strut my stuff!  Now that I have a better somewhat set schedule, I'll be able to give my blog a little more love, amen to that right?  By the way, I bought those super awesome high waisted swimsuit bottoms and I absolutely adore them! I recommend every girl out there grab a pair of those to add to your summer wardrobe, you can't go wrong!  Happy Monday!

Happy Monday you guys!  Finally after a 2 week vacation I am back!  Congrats to my baby brother and my new SIL on your marriage, it was so much fun!!  Chris and I had such an amazing time with family and it was so great to see everybody.  There just never seems to be enough time with them though and I wish I could have packed them up in my suitcase to bring them back with me.  Maybe that will be a futuristic luxury?  Something amazing happened today and for those of you that already know...shhhh.  I can't wait to announce it!  Have a great week guys!

What a long week it had been indeed!  As I sit here sipping my Lambrusco, which is an amazing Italian wine, I am filled with excitement!  Next week Chris and I will be North Carolina bound for my baby brother's wedding!  So exciting right?  I can't wait to see everything and everyone, of course take awesome pictures for you guys!  I bought this amazing dress that I got an AMAZING deal on today and tomorrow I shall share it with you!  How did your week fair?  Here's to an awesome week ahead...cheers!

Happy Monday ya'll!  The past few days have been so fun!  I was off two days in a row last week which meant I got to cook and enjoy myself!  It's been in the triple digits around here and after checking out the weather, seeing a snowstorm in the NE, I am kind of jealous!  I feel like I am finally getting into a blogging groove, which I do not want to jinx!  How was your weekend?  Hope you guys have a great week!
