Queen of Hearts

Today, I started making my Valentine's Day cards!  Silly thing was I made two of them and lost my inspiration.  So, I'll have to do some research to get some ideas.  I love making these though, it is so much fun!  I really got into card making last year at Christmas and it has been something I try to keep up with.  I mostly make cards at holidays, but I am going to start trying my hand at different occasions.  Hmm...I'd love to find a letterpress!

Happy Wednesday!

D.I.Y: Paper Windsock

What you'll need:

Pair of Scissors
Colored Card Stock (I used the cover of an Anthro catalogue)
Glue
Hole Punch
String or Yarn

 What to do:

Take your paper and fold it diagonally so that you create a triangle.

Next, cut the extra (the rectangular piece) off of the fold.

Fold the newly formed triangle in half to make a smaller triangle.

Cut three sections of your triangle to make slits, but DO NOT cut all the way through

Next open your paper all the way and begin to fold in opposite directions, gluing the tips together...

Lastly, punch a hole in either the top or bottom, pull a string through then tie in a tight knot!  Hang where ever you'd like, mine is hanging on a lamp in our room for now!

Happy DIY!!
