Happy Valentines Day

Happy Valentines Day to all!!  Although I am taking a break this week, I wanted to post on this day of love!!   Today I worked, but when I came home Chris had a planter of flowers waiting for me and a beautiful card that made me cry!  A planter of flowers?  Yes.  The reason is because I hate how flowers die so fast so his idea was we could place it by the window and water it so it'll last longer!  Gosh I love him!  Btw...check out my friend TJ from Mr. Taylor and His Lady .  She had a bunch of readers and fellow bloggers send her pictures of themselves as well as where they were from to show the love! 

I Can Hear the Bells...

 

Okay, so no...Chris has not proposed but I have had total wedding fever lately!  Today, Jamie and I went to check out prom dresses because she has prom coming up, first let me just say how much fun that was and second I decided to try on a couple of "wedding" type dresses.   The lace dress in the top picture was FABULOUS!!  I didn't try it on, but I fell in love and the second dress was more for a reception.  I can't wait to start wedding planning and then I can do Wedding Wednesdays!

By the way, I wish I was going to prom again, what an awesome time that was and I'm so excited for Jamie to be going! 

Wishlist Wednesday

 

Working at Anthro it is so hard to resist absolutely...everything.  So I try to fall in love with things I know I can afford.  Since it's gotten pretty chilly here, I've been in total soup mode!  Ever since the veggie soup I made last week, I can't wait to make more.  For the Love of Soup is the companion to For the Love of Salad.  How cool is that, soup and salad?  Sold!  Poulet is on my list because I'm always trying to figure out what to make with chicken, I feel that this would be perfect for helping me with my..."chef's block".  These cute little cups, dear lord!! How adorable!! There are others but this one is my favorite....shall we say, Christmas present?

This Morning We....

This morning we, or I rather, got up and started to get ready for work.  Since I love getting up later than I'm supposed to, Chris got up with me and helped me finish getting ready!  We fed daisy, I made my breakfast (to go) and we quickly put together my lunch!  Teamwork makes the dream work people and at 7:30 am we needed lots of it to get me out the door.  How was your morning?  Hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend!  Cheers!

DLSR...what I could do with a "real" camera...

Just a couple things I really wish I had right now.  Home love looks like a really awesome book, with some amazing inspiration for setting up a room.  The simple diary is amazing because it gives you prompts which, in my opinion can be really fun! I want that lace dress, its beautiful and personally, I would love to get my hands on it as a wedding dress! I'm not much a wedding "gown" type of person.....the camera needs no explanation...

Weekend Warrior

Chris and Daisy, my saving graces!

Well...it appears it's Monday again!  This past weekend I unfortunately came down with a mild tummy bug.  Not fun but I survived and I couldn't have done it without Chris and Daisy who helped me feel better that much quickly!  Sunday I worked and we're finally getting a sense of the holidays as the store was booming with business the entire day!  This week I am setting a personal goal, to start exercising every day by dancing.  I miss dancing so much!  I bought a dvd because my schedule doesn't allow me to take classes at the moment and I'm so excited to start!!  Isn't it fun to set goals?
