1. Tie-Front Button Down
 I love the way this top gives you the versatility of wearing it tied or untied, depending on how you're feeling that day!  Oh and duh, the stripes!

2. Skinny Ankle Pant in Mint via Target
Mint, mint, mint!  Such a on trend color this season, so fresh and pretty.  I've been craving a pair of these for so long.

3. Windbloom Chambray Kerchief
There is something about a tied handkerchief and a striped top that says, "French".  I'm not sure if I would tie it the way it's shown but it would definitely look "oh-la-la".

4. Montego Bay Club Sandal 
These are too cute not to pass up, its very casual with this outfit and it keeps it from being too dressy.  If need be, I'd throw on my floral wedges to dress it up a bit! But sandals are so comfy!

Okay ladies, time to do some shopping!  This is a trend that I'm sure has been around but I'm even more positive it is making a comeback and I'm so excited.  I love the idea of pairing shorts with a nice blazer and a pair of great heels for a polished look!  It's fun, sophisticated and girly with a hint of masculinity thrown in the mix.  I can't wait to try this look out with my fav blazer! 

Trend Alert - Arm Candy

Wow!  So I am not much of a bracelet/watch person, but I am really loving this look right now!  It's the new summer staple to your accessory wardrobe and I think throwing a little arm candy on can definitely change and switch up a look you already have going!  It's pretty much the friendship bracelet all grown up! My name is Kristine and I'm from Arizona!

When did you start blogging and what got you into it? 
I started casually blogging quite a few years ago in 2008. However, I didn't take it too seriously until I started style blogging in 2010. I'd been reading blogs for a while and I decided that I loved the community and I wanted to contribute to it in any way possible! I also wanted to document my style as a way to get more creative with my closet.

What inspires your blog posts?

Quite simpy, my wardrobe.

Aside from blogging, what is your absolute favorite hobby? 
I'm learning how to bake - I absolutely love to make delicious cookies and cupcakes. I have quite the sweet tooth.

 

 

 

Favorite Go-to beauty products?  
I've just recently started wearing lipstick. I love J.Crew's Poppy King lipstick for every day wear.

Have fun, don't take things too seriously, and make friends!

I know you lived in Japan, what did you learn living in a different country? 
Oh, I could write for ages on this topic! But to summarize, I learned about a different culture and way of life than I am so accustomed to. Living abroad opened my eyes to how big the world is.
What do you want to be when you grow up?   

A retail buyer. In fact, I'm going back to school this summer to pursue that dream!

These are the items I have been thinking about the most so far this week.  They all scream Spring and Summer.  I've tried the pink Hana Culottes on at work and I fell in love immediately, it was like they were after my heart as soon as I set my eyes on them!  So much fun and with Summer quickly approaching or if it's already Summer, like it is here in Arizona, then these are the perfect "going to run errands!" type outfits!

Today was such a long day at work, during that time I was able to semi-brainstorm some new card ideas and tomorrow I will be ordering plastic sleeves for all of my cards!  I can't wait to give more to the GROWop!  If everything goes according to planned, I'll be coming up with a shop name and even open an Etsy shop...keep your eyes open!

These five items are going to be my goal!  There's always so many things I want and working in a retail environment is so hard, so tempting!  So, I figured I'll make a list of some items, I'll call "My Essentials", once a week and then try to get at least one of those items from that list.  While I may not be able to obtain the exact item, I'll grab a knock-off any day!  I think I'm going to go for the shoes or the boyfriend fit denim first...hmm...decisions!

I really love mixing prints! Stripes and floral patterns seem to be the thing I am mixing up the most.   At first I wasn't too sure about this outfit and if I do it again I'll probably use a skinny belt instead.  Next week is Valentines week!  I can't wait to see what Chris has in store for our night.  Are you guys doing anything special?  I am also going to be taking the week off from my blog.  I know some weeks I post more than others according to my schedule, but I want to start planning.  Getting a little more focused and narrow down some content ideas for posts!   So I shall see all you lovelies in a week!  You will be missed!

Half a morning and a huge cup of coffee later and I finally figured out what I was going to wear today.  Special thanks to Pinterest for my inspiration, which let me just say, that is an amazing site for fashion advice.  Usually when I can't figure out what to pair with what, I hop on there and get some ideas. 

By the way, I'm reminding myself next time to take pictures before the sun gets too bright or else you get my "I just ate a lemon" face.

Wow, I sure haven't posted an outfit photo in awhile!  This was my day off outfit!  Yes, I get dressed up on my days off.  Why?  Because, I love to be girly and look nice.  Even if I am just going to the grocery store to grab recipe ingredients.  Sometimes I don't get dressed up, but more often I do than I don't!  This blazer, let me tell you...has changed-my-life!!  I wear it as much as possible...overload?  I think not.  Mens wear paired with women's wear is beautiful! 

By the way, I adore hot pink nails.  Which I have read that the trend is going to be neon nails this spring.  How fun?!  Tonight's agenda includes making veggie soup and hot salsa because Chris isn't feeling well.  I'm going to add a recipe page to the ol' blog here, so I can share my favorite recipes.  I can't wait!!

While its not fall here, I'm still falling for it from afar.  I'm looking forward to the day I wake up and its chilly out!  Last night I put together these three outfits for today with inspiration from the October Anthro Catalog and I gotta tell ya, I had a blast! I've also been hearing that the "nerdy chic" look is in, great thing I already own a pair of glasses.  Ha ha!  In two weeks, I'll be on a plane headed to chilly New York and the thoughts of wearing jeans, pea-coats and scarfs makes me super excited!  What are your favorite fall essentials?

Today Chris and I went into Chandler to run some errands.  We stopped by Michaels because it's that time of year again for me to start making cards.  I couldn't decide on what to do and accidentally bought the wrong card paper...I can't wait for the finished results so I can show you all.

 Things I am loving this Thursday are all hair products.  Don't you love when you have great product to help style your hair and make it look amazing!  All of them were under five dollars and that's the best part!
