2. Be-All Buttondown
I love...this top.  Classic chambray, perfect for a dressy outfit and a casual one.  I have to have this, pair it with a colored denim or tucked in a high-waisted skirt or over a flowy maxi dress!

3. Big Fatty Mascara
Done by Urban Decay, I hear so many amazing things about this mascara and if you love big luscious lashes while moisturizing, then you have to have it!

4. Lipsurgence Natural Matte Lip Tint
I've been searching for the perfect lipstick, the perfect color and I want this so bad.  It looks perfect and Tarte is all natural!  I hate shimmery lip anything, so matte for me is the way to go!

Remember this?  Time for a remix...Today it was cloudy here in the Valley of The Sun and tomorrow rain?  Not a fan of it, but we need it, so bring it on!  Also, might I add that overcast is the photographers dream, which I found an article about it for you here!  As some of you know I shoot all of my photos with a dinky point and shoot camera and if you didn't know that, ta-da...my secret revealed. I've always said the camera does not make the photographer, rather the other way around.  However it is my goal to snag a great dslr sometime soon because I know it will effect the quality of my photographs, how do you like those apples? 

Also, I am going to gather together some of my favorite outfits and create a look book here, so not only I can reference them, but if you need some inspiration as well!  Happy Wednesday!

Somehow, I am still alive writing this post!  Nine straight days of work later, I have come out in one piece, almost.  Obviously, there are so many things I always want, but this week, a few great things made my list! I am actually planning on getting a fedora as well as the facial cleanser.  The exfoliator looks like it will do an awesome job and I read some great reviews!  Any suggestions of some great beauty products I should try?

These are the items I have been thinking about the most so far this week.  They all scream Spring and Summer.  I've tried the pink Hana Culottes on at work and I fell in love immediately, it was like they were after my heart as soon as I set my eyes on them!  So much fun and with Summer quickly approaching or if it's already Summer, like it is here in Arizona, then these are the perfect "going to run errands!" type outfits!

Today was such a long day at work, during that time I was able to semi-brainstorm some new card ideas and tomorrow I will be ordering plastic sleeves for all of my cards!  I can't wait to give more to the GROWop!  If everything goes according to planned, I'll be coming up with a shop name and even open an Etsy shop...keep your eyes open!

The Brown Smokey Eye

Naked Palette: Halfbaked, Smog, Darkhorse and Creep

For this look I grabbed my Naked Palette from Urban Decay, but if you do not have it, that's fine!  You can grab any drug store version with the three colors above or use the same technique with any other three colors! 

1. Taking your oval shaped brush, dip it into Halfbaked.  Applying the gold shimmer all over your lid and just slightly on the inside corner of the bottom lid.

2. Taking your domed shaped brush, dip it into Smog.  Apply this to the creases and outer corners of your eye.  Making sure to smudge the colors a bit!

3.  Using your "smugdy" angled shading brush, dip into Darkhorse, smudge the color in the crease and outer corners, dragging the color up then smudging down into the outer corners.

4. Grab your small dome brush once more and dip into Creep or a black eyeshadow, and slightly smudge up to blend the colors.  Add a little to the bottom corner to get a bit of the smokey eye on the bottom lid.

I absolutely love a smokey eye!  I think its great that you don't necessarily need to use blacks or greys to achieve the look, but any type of colors will work!  Here's what I used one more time!

These five items are going to be my goal!  There's always so many things I want and working in a retail environment is so hard, so tempting!  So, I figured I'll make a list of some items, I'll call "My Essentials", once a week and then try to get at least one of those items from that list.  While I may not be able to obtain the exact item, I'll grab a knock-off any day!  I think I'm going to go for the shoes or the boyfriend fit denim first...hmm...decisions!

Okay, so no...Chris has not proposed but I have had total wedding fever lately!  Today, Jamie and I went to check out prom dresses because she has prom coming up, first let me just say how much fun that was and second I decided to try on a couple of "wedding" type dresses.   The lace dress in the top picture was FABULOUS!!  I didn't try it on, but I fell in love and the second dress was more for a reception.  I can't wait to start wedding planning and then I can do Wedding Wednesdays!

By the way, I wish I was going to prom again, what an awesome time that was and I'm so excited for Jamie to be going!
